Edgecam Milling : Edgecam provides the production machine shop with a wide range of flexible milling cycles. Machining efficiency is maximized on simple and complex prismatic parts as well as those incorporating sculptured surface geometry. With Edgecam you get prismatic machining combined with powerful 3D solid and surface machining strategies, all in one complete solution.
Edgecam Turning : Edgecam Turning provides functionality for a wide range of machine tools, including 2-axis lathes, multi-turret configurations, sub-spindle turning centers and mill/turn machines. On a mill/turn machine, C-, Y- and B-axis milling and drilling take place within the same program as the turning to provide a fully integrated and associative programming solution.
Edgecam Strategy Manager : Edgecam Strategy Manager is an interactive, graphical tool used to define and capture the way in which parts are cut. Edgecam Strategy Manager allows the user to capture best practice manufacturing methods and apply them to subsequent jobs, dramatically reducing programming time.
Edgecam Part Modeler : Edgecam Part Modeler is a 3D modelling tool specifically designed for quick and simple construction and/or modification of solid models. Cost effective and easy to use, Part Modeler comes complete with fully associative drafting capability. It’s the perfect complement to Edgecam Solid Machinist – providing advanced modelling tools to create parts or workholding systems such as chuck jaws or fixtures. The major features of a machine tool can also be modelled, for accurate cutting simulation and collision detection within Edgecam.
Edgecam Production : Edgecam is an industry leading solution for all your production machining needs. Applications include prismatic and 3D milling, complex multi-axis turning, mill/turn, rotary and multi-plane milling and family of parts machining. Innovative solutions for a more productive and profitable machine shop are supplied. These include excellent toolpath simulation, a unique wizard approach to post processing, a comprehensive tooling database, intuitive and flexible machine tool communications and a web-enabled job management system.
Edgecam Mill/Turn : Edgecam includes an easy-to-use multi-axis turning module for programming sub-spindle lathes. As with multi-turret machine configurations, cycle time and the ability to turn a part completely in one operation are of paramount importance when working with sub-spindle lathes. |
Edgecam Solid Machinist : Within Edgecam, the integrity of your design is maintained because the solid model is impor ted without translation. Edgecam Solid Machinist uses automatic feature recognition to interrogate the solid model and quickly identify machineable features. Edgecam then offers the user the most appropriate tooling and machining strategy to generate accurate toolpaths.
Edgecam 5 Axis : Edgecam 4 and 5-Axis machining products are designed to meet the demanding machining requirements of industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical and oil & gas. Edgecam seamlessly integrates 4 and 5-Axis simultaneous machining within its milling and mill/turn environment to allow a range of multi-axis cutting strategies to be applied to the most complex tooling or components. The system’s graphical user interface and intuitive commands enable it to be programmed quickly and accurately.
Edgecam 4 Axis : Edgecam’s 4-Axis strategies are ideal for the rotary machining of automotive and aerospace components such as camshafts, crankshafts and blades, as well as the production of rotary dies and tooling for the oil & gas industry. A range of advanced options provides full control over the toolpath.
Edgecam DNC : Edgecam DNC utilizes Ethernet networking technology to provide direct connection of all types of machine tools to standard networks via network cable or WLAN. Program loading and saving is done from the machine tool control keyboard without the need for individual machine specific terminals.
Edgecam Probing : Edgecam Probing is an intuitive yet powerful tool for automatically generating and simulating spindle probing tool paths direct from geometry within Edgecam in order to update work piece location offsets.
